As Above

First there was So Below. This year there is As Above.

Continuing the same all-inclusive format that made last year’s gathering so successful, join some of today’s thought leaders in astrology and magic for an afternoon of wide-ranging and interactive discussion, then stay late into the night for the open bar and Portland’s finest truck-based delicacies.

Star Dreaming
  • What fresh insights can be gleaned from putting astrology in dialogue with worldwide approaches to star lore?
  • What does magical timing look like, beyond Neoplatonism and out in a living universe?
  • How do we understand fate and predestination from a kinship perspective?
  • Are magical correspondences and the creation of talismans Platonic or animist? And does changing this frame lead to better outcomes?
Spend your afternoon deep diving into the cutting edge of astrological and magical ontologies then, following the discussion and Q&A, congratulate yourself for being so smart by sticking around to catch up with local practitioners, chat to Gordon, Austin and Kaitlin directly, and generally just find the others.
Event Schedule + Details
Each ticket includes dinner and access to an open bar, meaning all attendees must be 21 years or older. IDs will be checked at the door, opening at 5:00PM on Saturday, September 14th. Presentations begin at 5:30, followed by an audience Q&A. Dinner service begins at 8:00.
Guests are welcome to stay and participate in what will undoubtedly devolve into an occult warehouse party until closing at about 2:00AM, but quitters are free to depart at any point in the evening.
